Hi all!:)

I finally had some free time to do some of my own stuff,
and this gave me the opportunity to do what I really like: line-art/ comic style.
After all the painting this is a welcome return for me:)

This is a drawing based on the movie 'Equilibrium' (2002, courtesy: Miramax Films)
A nice little gem that got overlooked.
it features the awesome Gun-Fu (or Gun-Kata), a combination of martial arts and using fire-arms.

Good work, I like the cross hatched shading -- adds some texture and richness to the piece.
I would say that his choice of position for the right arm is quite odd...looks as though he's being unnecessarily fancy. I can't see how that'd lead to a good shot ;)

About the fancy swancy move, I dunno if you've seen the movie but these grammaton clerics incorporate mathematics into their gun fighting.
I know sounds a bit silly, but looks cool.
By throwing his arm over his head he can make himself more 'flat' towards the opposing figthers. less mass to shoot at and thus getting shot has less er chance...or somthing like that:P

Makes sense. I imagine one would need to balance the need to be harder to hit with the need to be able to make a decent outgoing shot too.
