Hi all:)

This is the first of a small series of dino artworks
that will get printed on tee's and posters

Painted with PS CS3 and Wacom Graphire 4 tablet

Very nice work! The perspective on the tail is excellent! I think that his legs look a bit off though, a bit too static and massive, I think that the muscles and tendons should stand out more IMHO. Great sky, the textures are lovely too ! :)

Well technically the T-Rex couldn't stand upright like that or it's back would snap in half, but otherwise this is spectacular work, very impressive!

dude this is wickedly brilliant :D
i loved the texture you used on his majesty :P
and the BG is also to die for, the rocks the lava, the clouds, all ad up to form a very realistic shot.
did the glass of water on my table just formed ripples???

I tried to define some bone and muscular textures in the legs, but I also wanted them to be massive as it supports a lot of weight. I have searched through many refs and they all interpret differently how a rex should look like. I followed my own way then, i think it was a stylistic choice. That said you do have a valid point and I am thinking how to adjust it
