Artist's Comments

Hi All:D

Here a new dragon artwork from me,
this time in black and whites according to my client's wishes.

I usually paint my dragons aggressive, this time I wanted to depict something more ' peaceful':)

The rock structures are inspired by Superman's Kryptonite.

The scales are painted one by one with individual attention to each scale.

Painted with PS CS3 and Wacom Graphire4 tablet

This will get printed on black tee's and posters

PLEASE view fullsize thanks!:D

Comments and crits are always welcome thanks!

This is absoulutely stunning, Vincent! I love the transparency at the base of the wing on it's back! Too bad the client didn't want a color version but I still like this in black and white! Great job, bud! :D

Oh my, what to say about this. First off, awesome job! The detail in the scales and spines is incredible! I love the lighting and how light reflects off him in certain places. And awesome job with the background! :D

Beauty can hide a multitude of sins, but underneath we all look exactly the same.
