Another t-shirt design from me.
I wanted to depict the tension in the fabric due to the power of the eagle that is flying/crashing through the shirt.
Painted with my shiny new black quadcore comp
Wacom Graphire 4 tablet and PS.
Lots of references used

Comments and crits are always welcome, thanks!
EDIT:
I have made two important changes:
1. The eagles head is much more upright
2. The tears that are wrapping around its left wing are more dynamic, as they look like they are about to snap
This really reminds me of your Chinese dragon pic .
I think there should be more visible finer strands on the pinions, especially the bright ones.
Your painting skill in details is just good as usual, but I don't know why the overall eagle looks pretty hard and... well... toy-ish.
However, you're a great artist and for a T-shirt design, it can't be better .
Eagle eathers are very thick, strands are hard to notice in real life.
However, I have rendered every feather with strands (very close to eachother) but with resizing it to this size (original one is much larger) it got lost...
I think I'm going to make the strands a big thicker.
that's really good, i love the look of the eagle. it looks almost like it's goin' to fly out of the page. and you did a great job of addin' tension to the fabric.

Wow, beautiful work! I really love how the fabric is tearing around the eagle, and how each feather is rendered differently. I almost thought it was a photograph at first. o_o
